Windows and Linux Shortcut Keys

Important Shortcut Keys for windows
Serial Number Keys to press Actions will be performed
1. ctrl+c copy data
2. ctrl+v Paste data
3. ctrl+x cut data
4. ctrl+z Undo
5. ctrl+y Redo
6. alt+tab switch between open tabs
7. alt+f4 close current tab
8. start(window)+d navigate to desktop
9. ctrl+p give print
10. start(window)+l lock the PC
11. Ctrl+plus (+) or Ctrl+minus (-) Zoom in or out of a large number of items, like apps pinned to the Start screen
12. Ctrl+scroll wheel Zoom in or out of a large number of items, like apps pinned to the Start screen
13. Windows logo key‌ Windows logo key+F Open the Search charm to search files
14. ctrl+s save the current file
15. start(window)+f open the window search
16. Esc Stop or exit the current task
18. F1 Open help
19. F2 Rename the selected file
20. F3 Search for a file or folder

1. alt+f1 opens the system menu
2. alt+f4 closes the focused window
3. alt+mouse grabs a window anywhere you want to place the cursor
4. shift+del permanently deletes a file without sending it to the Trash
5. ctrl+alt+l locks the screen
6. alt+tab cycle between open tabs
7. ctrl+backspace deletes an entire word in many text editors
8. ctrl +a Select all
9. ctrl+z undo
10. ctrl +c copies the selection

13. F11 toggles the fullscreen view in a lot of applications
